Head - Continuing Education
Nimitt Karia is Head - Continuing Education at The Urban College of the Urban Management Centre. He is also the founder of Development2020 and Co-founder of D2020 FMXchange, a sister concern working in Facilities Management. A practicing Development and Project Management Consultant working across India, Africa and Europe. Over the last 23 years he has delivered complex built environment projects ranging from residential and commercial buildings to airports, townships, and mixed-use developments.
Nimitt has been engaged with premier institutions like CEPT University, Ganpat University and Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management as a visiting faculty for over a decade. He has taught courses on construction management, lean construction, and building services management.
He has experience working on many large-scale projects in London including one of the five millennium projects of UK – The Great Court at British Museum, Heathrow T1, Gatwick Pier6, and with companies such as MACE Ltd and M3Consulting.
