Dr H.M. Mishra, M.A Ph. D in Social Science (Specialization in Political and Urban Sociology) is a freelance Consultant. He has worked with the government for three decades as a teacher and trainer. Dr Mishra has provided consultancy services to many domestic and international organizations. Till recently, he was a Senior Consultant at Atal Bihari Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, Bhopal. His experience in imparting training to the top echelon of Civil Services, Institutional Development and strengthening institutions through capacity development interventions. His professional experiences revolve around teaching, training and learning material development based on training/learning needs analysis. His professional domain includes designing capacity-building strategies, developing CB action plans, instructional strategy and assessing learning outcomes. Most of such activities are aiming at deepening democracy, strengthening decentralization, empowering commons through improved transparency, accountability in public service delivery.
He is a passionate learner of public policy analysis, a keen observer of massive political upheaval and societal struggle with a complex matrix of environmental degradation, poverty amidst plenty that perpetuates disparities.
